Built on an exclusive reinforced tree, the Martin Calf Roper features a lower, wider gullet to allow the saddle to rest well down on the horse's back.  This close contact, low profile fit helps prevent soreness and minimize the jerk and pressure caused from the rope to the horse's back and shoulder.  The Calf Roper is also designed with a lower cantle and swell for cleaner, quicker dismounts.  The fenders are blocked to hang straight, never behind your center of balance, to maintain forward body position for fast starts and quick throws.  And the horn is reinforced to withstand continual abuse.  Heavy duty leather construction also includes reinforced front and back rigs, billets and stirrup leathers.
